GP Strategies has a Senior Director opening. This is a full-time, benefitted position.

SUMMARY:
The Director is responsible for leading an internal function responsible for talent management, productivity tracking and reporting, quality control, customer and staff relationships, culture, and safety measures as established in conjunction with the client or business unit. This includes ensuring that services meet or exceed any established service level agreements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.



  • Working with teams across the function to establish and enforce processes that will drive defined operational targets and financial goals.
  • Responsible for business unit's financial progress and budget targets throughout the year. Work closely with GP financial to prepare reports and monthly forecasts.
  • Partner with corporate HR function to recruit and hire open roles, ensuring full staffing within minimal turnover.
  • Oversee ongoing talent management activities, ensuring consistent performance management and compensation practices across the function.
  • Evaluate and screen business issues or business change initiatives to assess the need for performance analysis/diagnosis.
  • Manage Risks and Issues around projects as required ensuring all stakeholders are kept updated with progress.
  • Ensure contracts and all project contractual documents are maintained in accordance with GP procedures.
  • Build, maintain and grow trusted relationships with business stakeholders to understand relevant business issues.
  • Support learning development initiatives (new and existing) on behalf of the customer and the business.
  • Support Business Development activities and provide oversight of the Sales and Marketing staff.
  • Manage relationships with key operations vendors.


Education and Experience Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in a business relevant field preferred and 5-10 years client management and leadership experience
  • Possess strong financial and project management skills
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast paced environment, strong follow through skills, relentless attention to detail
  • Demonstrated initiative in identifying solutions and continuous improvement opportunities with the ability to develop ideas into executable plans
  • Demonstrated analytical ability to identify, assimilate, and analyze information from multiple sources, and draw an accurate conclusion and action plan based on the information gathered and experience
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, coach and collaborate with all levels of employees
