MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:High School diploma or equivalent.

Training and Experience: Minimum of Associate Degree in communication, photography, writing, or equivalent and three (3) years of experience or expertise in either:

Highly Desirable: Public affairs, photography or journalism experience. Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and draft unit and commander documentation of events; and organize community engagement plans and media operations support. Skills should include camera equipment usage, use of editing software, accessories, lighting, and composition; capable of responsibility for capturing accurate and comprehensive imagery of events and individuals for documentation and information use.

General Skills:Must be able to handle multiple tasks, a self-starter, flexible in work assignments, detail oriented, highly organized, possess good interpersonal and written communication skills, and work under limited supervision.

Computer Skills:Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Security Clearance:Must currently possess an active Secret security clearance.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Provide professional administrative support to photographic services and products in support of 432 WG events both on and off base within a 50-mile radius of Creech AFB. Photographic services include location photography, studio photography, alert photography, maintaining the still image library, and photojournalist support.
  • Alert photography is mission essential and consists of providing an alert photographer in response to emergency requests from Security Forces, Air Force Office of Special Investigations, Disaster Preparedness, flying or ground safety offices, and other emergency response agencies at Creech AFB. The contractor shall develop and update an on-call alert photographer roster, which shall be provided to the Command Post, Security Forces, Fire Department, Base Civil Engineer (BCE), Chief of PA, and COR monthly. The roster shall include the photographers' name and contact number. The contractor shall coordinate alert photographic services with the requesting agency.
  • Records Life-Cycle Management Program and Procedures for Accessioning Electronic Images into the Air Force Media Center. All imagery will be approved by the Chief of Public Affairs (PA) or designated representative prior to accessioning.
  • Operate and maintain a multimedia and public address self-help center to provide equipment, equipment loan, materials, and technical assistance to authorized personnel.
  • Maintain a library of multimedia products developed by the 432 WG Multimedia Center for issue upon request of authorized customers Monday through Friday from 0730 to 1630 hours. This service consists of loading and organizing digital copies of multimedia products on a Creech AFB network server. The contractor shall coordinate with the Base Historian Office about disposition of outdated media. The contractor shall archive digital copies of multimedia products in order to comply with Creech AFB network server space limitations.
  • Provide Public Affairs, Communications and Customer support services at the Digital Media Customer Service Center.
  • Some activities/events may require minimal support before/after normal duty hours. When the contractor requires access to a work area that conflicts with an AF mission requirement, the contractor shall reschedule the work to minimize disruption. Contractor shall support alert and location photography, public address, and multimedia conference room support outside the aforementioned normal duty hours.
  • Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
