Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a program management analyst for the Engineering, Professional, and Administrative Support Services contract, supporting the US Air Force Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division.

JOB DETAILS

LOCATION: San Antonio, TX

JOB STATUS: FT

TRAVEL: 5%

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • BA/BS, 4 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, or 8 years of directly related experience
  • Current Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
  • Positive, pro-active attitude

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Experience with Confluence, Jira, Mattermost

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Objective and Key Result (OKR) Management: Manage and populate dashboard enabling real-time tracking for multiple teams and providing leadership with visibility into OKRs. Facilitate alignment on progress and blockers to ensure timely goal achievement.
  • Onboarding and Access Coordination: Manage and streamline the onboarding process for new team members, ensuring prompt access to critical tools, such as VPN, Mattermost, and file servers. Validate compliance through secure documentation and maintain up-to-date NDA and team rosters in Confluence.
  • Meeting Facilitation and Stakeholder Alignment: Facilitate recurring cross-functional team meetings, update attendance rosters, and initiate new meeting series with vendor partners to support technical progress. Create short-term meeting series to prepare for pilot deployments, ensuring project alignment.
  • Acquisition and Expense Tracking Tools: Develop and maintain tracking tools in SharePoint and PowerApps to support acquisition efforts, allowing users to monitor expenses and manage receipts in real-time, thus improving financial oversight and reporting accuracy.
  • Project Readiness and Task Management: Create interactive checklists and burndown charts for tracking readiness and task completion across project teams, providing leadership with real-time updates and visibility into status, blockers, and project milestones.
  • Jira Customization for Development and Testing: Customize Jira issue tracking with specialized fields to enhance communication between development and test teams, facilitating prompt identification and resolution of issues throughout the project lifecycle.

Schedule and Activity Coordination: Manage and maintain project schedules in calendar format in Confluence, ensuring alignment across engineering teams on timelines, responsibilities, and activities. Support weekly sync meetings to keep all stakeholders informed on current and upcoming project activities.

  • Travel Resource Documentation: Develop comprehensive Confluence pages and Mattermost channels for travel teams, providing key information on emergency resources, on-site POCs, and travel guidelines to enhance communication, preparation, and security for field personnel.
  • Lessons Learned and Process Improvement: Build and maintain dashboards in Microsoft Lists, capturing actionable insights and mitigation plans from team activities to inform future project enhancements and best practices.
  • User Access and Account Management:Oversee the onboarding and offboarding process for team members, managing Mattermost, VPN, Jira, and Confluence accounts to support team productivity and ensure adherence to security protocols across high-priority projects.
