Position Title: Welders
Wage: $19.00-$21.00 per hour Shift: 1st, 2nd, Weekend Join our team as a Fitter Welder in St. Charles and bring your skills to a company that values precision and craftsmanship! We're looking for a detail-oriented professional to perform custom welding and fabrication, ensuring top-quality workmanship in every project. Welder Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Proficient in assigned welding techniques. - Interpretation of mechanical drawings, including weld requirement symbolism. - Knowledge of wire and filler materials applications for various steel alloys, aluminum, and some exotic materials. - Working knowledge of fixtures and weld set-up parameters (amps, volts, etc.). - Conventional and precision measuring instruments. - Process inspection, certification, and documentation. - Complete daily paperwork and or updates to company ERP system. - Welding equipment maintenance. - Finish grinding applications using manual and power tools. - Safety and housekeeping. - Other duties as assigned by the area supervisor. Welder Requirements: - Regularly required to read, talk or hear. - Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. - Required to wear appropriate PPE, such as: steel toed boots, hard hat, eye protection and ear protection. - Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and explosives. korea.willingham@qpsemployment.com IND999 About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
