Position Highlights

The Department of Immunobiology invites applications for the position of Research Technician II. The successful candidate will work as part of a team and will be expected to independently perform experimental techniques. The candidate will be trained in and expected to perform several cutting-edge experimental techniques such as lipidomics, metabolomics, mass spectrometry, and assays to understand virus-host interactions. The candidate's work will help further our understanding of the replication of human viruses.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Conduct experiments independently with guidance from the PI and other lab members following appropriate training.
  • Maintains detailed records of studies conducted, organizes and analyzes data using several computer softwares.
  • Order and maintain lab supplies, plus other lab related tasks as needed.
  • Participate in lab meetings and other scientific discussions.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • High school diploma or high school diploma equivalency is required.
