Title: Shipping Coordinator
Location: Wood Dale, IL (on-site)
Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm
Classification: Non-Exempt, Full-Time, Direct-Hire
The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for accurate, efficient shipment processing, coordination with internal teams, and adherence to warehouse safety protocols. This role requires a detail-oriented, dependable individual who can perform in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Shipping & Packing: Operate Pack Line scanning, manage domestic/international shipments, assist with packing, and handle large supplies.
Inventory & Documentation: Maintain ERP inventory records, print invoices, file shipping paperwork, and manage inventory tasks.
Issue Resolution & Communication: Troubleshoot shipment issues, coordinate with sales for shipment details, and support warehouse teamwork.
Safety & Compliance: Follow OSHA and facility safety guidelines, ensuring a clean, hazard-free workspace.
Additional Duties: Learn new tasks as assigned to support efficient warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma (bachelor's preferred).
Experience: 2+ years in a warehouse (preferred).
Physical Requirements: Lift up to 50 lbs, stand long periods, wrap pallets.
Skills: Basic computer and ERP software skills; strong English communication.
